Privacy

• About you — your first name, whether you are the child’s mom, dad or grandparent, your WhatsApp number, and the language you prefer. Pebble uses your number for one thing: a WhatsApp message from Pebble Plans when a guest answers, which you can switch off under My settings.
• About your child — the first name and the age they’re turning that you enter, whether they’re a girl or a boy if you choose to say (it only shapes the invitation’s wording — “he’d love to see you there”), and any photo or drawing you choose to put on the invitation. Pebble no longer asks for the date of birth; one saved before this change stays only until you remove it under the ☰ menu › Birthday kids.
• Party photos — after the party you can share photos and short videos with the families who said yes. Each family first promises not to share them. Before any family sees a photo or a video, Pebble removes the location, date and camera details. Pebble keeps two sizes of each photo for 48 hours, then deletes every photo and video. Pebble keeps only a record of which family made the promise, and when. Pebble’s own backups never hold a photo; the hosting provider’s own disk backups can hold a copy for up to 7 days.
• About the party — date, time, place, what you wrote, the picture, your gift list and your to-dos.
• About the families you invite — the names, the relationship, the language and, when you have it, the WhatsApp number you enter for them. This is information about other people, so please only enter what you need.
• What guests answer — whether they are coming, how many children, anything they tell you in the questions you asked, notes, which individual gifts they picked and chip-in pledges.
• Your conversations with the assistant — the chat is kept with the plan so you can pick it up days later.
• How the app is used — first-party counts of things like "an invitation was sent" or "a guest opened their link", so the pilot can tell what works. No third-party trackers, no pixels, no advertising.
• What you search for in Places — the words you type into the search box on the Places page, with what they found. They are kept so the catalogue can be improved — a word that finds nothing is usually a venue Pebble should have and doesn't. Only James sees them, they stay inside the app, and they are never in the report file he downloads.

• You. Your plans are yours; no other organizer can reach them.
• Anyone you plan a party with. When you invite another parent to plan with you, the two of you share one guest book — they see and can change the same families, including ones you added before. They never see your other parties.
• Each guest family sees only their own link — their invitation, their own answers, the gift list. They never see another family’s answers or numbers.
• James, who runs the pilot, can open your plans to see how you are getting on and where the app gets in your way. That is the point of a pilot, and it is why the screen where you joined told you so. He cannot change anything in your plan, and each time he looks it is recorded.

Pebble is hosted in the EU. These are the only companies your data reaches, and only for what is listed:

A photo of your child is only ever sent anywhere if you attach one and ask for a picture to be made from it — for that one image, nothing else. Pebble never creates pictures of children out of nothing.

• One family — remove them from the guest list, or delete the contact in Guests. The record goes.
• One party — "Remove this plan" at the bottom of the invitation editor deletes the plan, its guest list and its pictures.
• Everything — "Delete my account" under the ☰ menu › My data removes your account, every plan, every guest list, your guest book and your pictures. It cannot be undone.
• Pilot data is kept while the pilot runs. Ask James at any time and it goes sooner.
